SCAIL 2 - 8 Directional Chibi to Chibi

Model: SCAIL 2 14B

Configuration: 14B FP8 + LightX2V, 8 Step, 768×768, 65 frames

Positive Prompt:

Eight views of the same chibi character with short brown hair, a red hoodie, black shorts and black shoes, walking in place simultaneously in the eight outer cells of a fixed three by three grid. Center cell remains empty. Preserve the reference character, face, clothing, chibi proportions, facing direction, cell position and front-versus-back identity in every view. Synchronized alternating steps, subtle toon shading, thin outlines, fixed camera, plain light gray background.

Negative Prompt:

wrong facing direction, front view turned backward, back view turned forward, distorted limbs, backwards knees, turning around, camera movement, running, jumping, merging bodies, extra people, character in center cell, missing face, changed clothing, realistic adult proportions

Driving Video:

Reference Image:

Results:

Interestingly, it made a mistake on the south facing view (bottom center) even though the driving video clearly had facial features. It requires further testing to see see how to fix this failure mode.

Remedying The Front-Back Flip:

We used following configurations to remedy it.

  • LightX2V, 8 steps, CFG 1, shift 1

  • Mask on both driving video and reference image

  • Used empty string for both positive and negative prompts.

  • Seeds: 42, 43, 44

Next Steps:

  • Try it on a better Chibi model.

  • Try One-to-All models.
