About Sprited
Sprited is not a game studio.
We’re a one-person AGI research company using game-like simulations as a testbed for intelligence.
The goal is simple, but absurdly ambitious:
Build a foundational model of intelligence—
not through data scraping, but through embodied experience in a living world.
We believe AGI won’t emerge from more scale. It’ll come from better grounding.
Not just predicting the next token, but living through the consequences of an action.
Not just seeing the world, but being in it.
So we’re building Machi—a 2D simulated world where agents can move, feel, promise, deceive, grow, and adapt.
It looks like a side-scroller. It is a simulation.
Everything in Machi is a research object:
Tiles carry memory and mood.
Microbes spread like ideas.
Water flows, but so does agency.
We’re not shipping games. We’re growing minds, frame by frame, tile by tile.
What Sprited Stands For
AGI through Simulation.
Intelligence isn't just math—it's context, consequence, and curiosity.Design over Demos.
We don't chase hype. We build things that last because they’re weird, true, and worth it.Play as Research.
Play reveals behaviors that models don’t. Simulated lives are faster than datasets.
Who’s Behind This?
Sprited is run by a single founder with a background in web and mobile engineering, AI, and game systems.
After nearly a decade in Big Tech, they left to pursue something harder, riskier, and far more meaningful.
If you're building something adjacent, reach out.
If you're here to lurk, welcome.
And if you think this is “just a game,” keep watching.
This is just the beginning.
