# Project Proposal: Adult Literacy Sprint

**Adult Literacy Sprint** is a mobile-first reading and writing training app for professionals who want to process information faster and communicate more clearly at work.

The product focuses on short, repeatable exercises rather than long lessons. Each session takes 2–5 minutes and trains practical skills such as reading dense prose, identifying the main claim of a sentence, understanding logical structure, choosing the most natural phrasing, and rewriting ideas more concisely.

Exercises could include:

*   multiple-choice reading comprehension

*   fill-in-the-blank sentence completion

* identifying the main clause in a complex sentence

* choosing between clearer and more awkward phrasing

*   reducing unnecessary words

* rewriting a sentence in fewer words

*   summarizing a short paragraph

* detecting ambiguity or weak logic

The target user is not a beginner language learner. It is a working adult who can already read and write comfortably but wants to become **faster, clearer, and more fluent in professional communication**.

The core idea is simple:

> **Treat literacy like a professional skill that can be trained in small daily repetitions.**

Instead of asking AI to read and write everything for the user, the app uses AI to create adaptive exercises, evaluate responses, identify recurring weaknesses, and gradually increase difficulty.

The goal is measurable improvement in:

**reading speed, comprehension, writing speed, clarity, conciseness, and professional fluency.**

A first version could be extremely small: one daily 3-minute session, a handful of exercise types, difficulty progression, and a simple score showing improvement over time.
